2. Quotations and Estimates
All quotations and estimates are provided in good faith based on the information available at the time.
Quotations remain valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.
Any additional work identified after work has commenced will be discussed and agreed with the customer before proceeding.
Estimated costs may change if unforeseen issues, hidden defects, or additional requirements are discovered.
3. Booking and Acceptance of Work
A project is considered accepted once both parties have agreed to proceed.
We reserve the right to refuse or decline any project at our discretion.
Proposed start dates and completion dates are estimates only and may change due to weather conditions, material availability, supplier delays, health and safety requirements, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
4. Deposits and Payment
Deposits may be required before work commences.
Payment terms will be specified in your quotation or invoice.
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, payment is due upon completion of the agreed works.
Failure to make payment within the agreed period may result in additional recovery costs and interest where permitted by law.
5. Roofing and Building Works
All work will be carried out with reasonable care, skill and professional workmanship.
Roofing and external building works are dependent upon weather conditions and safe working environments.
We reserve the right to postpone works where weather conditions create safety concerns or may compromise the quality of workmanship.
Existing structural defects, rot, water damage, inadequate previous repairs, or hidden defects discovered during the course of works may require additional repairs and costs.
6. Customer Responsibilities
Customers agree to:
Provide safe and reasonable access to the property.
Ensure all necessary permissions, approvals, or consents have been obtained where required.
Inform us of any known defects, hazards, or access restrictions.
Remove or adequately protect personal belongings, vehicles, and valuables where necessary.
Ensure pets and children are kept clear of work areas for safety reasons.
7. Guarantees and Warranties
Any workmanship guarantees provided by Safeguard Roofing and Building will be confirmed in writing.
Manufacturer warranties remain subject to the individual manufacturer’s terms and conditions.
Guarantees do not cover:
Storm damage
Extreme weather events
Lack of maintenance
Third-party alterations or repairs
Accidental damage
Structural movement
Circumstances outside our reasonable control
8. Project Photography
Safeguard Roofing and Building reserves the right to photograph completed works for portfolio, advertising, social media, and website purposes.
No personal information identifying customers will be published without consent.
Customers who do not wish project photographs to be used should notify us in writing before work commences.
